I was given Denise’s contact info after I lost my 16 yr old Cocker. Denise came highly recommended, as one of the most established English Cocker Spaniel breeders in BC. Further validated by a couple “Content Experts”, stating her breeding and puppy care were exceptional!
Denise and Pentti welcomed me into their home, where I met K9 family; (Poppy, Quincy, Birdie and Bogart). I knew immediately they would be a great fit for me, but I also sensed there was so much more to who they were as individuals and their commitment in raising quality healthy puppies. There are so many layers in the breeding and puppy care process and Denise has this dialled in, each step of the way, ensuring that all her puppies and future families are set up for long-term success.
My new journey has begun with beautiful Isabella; aka Pink, Signed Sealed Delivered, I’m Yours.

Our Noki is from 2025’s Motown Litter and he is such a star! You can tell Denise and Pentti genuinely love the breed and ensure you are off to a successful start. The socialization and desensitization effort that began before our puppy came home with us has made him a loving and brave boy. Just to share one of many examples, he has never been one to be afraid of strange sounds — vacuum, washer and dryer, hair dryer, etc., all have been introduced with ease. When we wanted to ask questions, Denise was available and shared her expertise. Noki is now 4 months old and so much insights and knowledge have been shared to equip us to be the best pawrents we could be. We are so thankful for Noki and we could not have gone with a better English Cocker Spaniel breeder!
From our first contact with Denise through a puppy enquiry on the Earendel website, I knew this was a committed, knowledgable , and above all caring breeder.
This first impression was validated as we met Denise and Pentti and their gorgeous dogs at shows and continued a close correspondence as we awaited our puppy.
The time and effort Denise put into ensuring the birth of healthy, beautiful, well tempered puppies is a gift to this breed and to those of us who are fortunate enough to live with one of their pups.
Maeve came to us at 10 weeks, cheerful, calm, brave and a willing learner. She has settled in easily with our older dog, our horses and grand children.. This is a testament to the extensive and knowledgable care Denise and Pentti have taken to socialize their puppies.

We came across Denise and Pentti from a random internet search without having any recommendation or background knowledge; it was clear from our first video call that they are extremely serious, diligent and passionate about English Cockers, and Denise’s excellent site provided irresistible proof of the beauty of the litters. We had the fortune of picking up our first English cocker spaniel at a dog show in the Valley, a great experience seeing the dogs in their full glory and even having our new girl win a ribbon!
Denise and Pentti provided us with a thorough overview of all the things to consider, as well as a wealth of useful info in a binder, along with some great online resources. We’ve kept in-touch and exchanged photos and videos routinely ever since – what a great experience to retain the contact, there’s no question about how much they care for their pups – and the owners. When Poppy was expecting her next litter Denise contacted us and we could not resist – we now have two amazing cockers, and though their young ages make for a bit of chaos at times, it’s well worth the bit of extra work. Mollie and Eddie are very loving, playful and energetic; the attention to care in breeding and the early work that Denise and Pentti undertake to methodically desensitize the young puppies to the myriad noises and experiences that dogs must endure in city life has been hugely appreciated, as pups are not phased by fireworks or loud noises, and are very friendly around other dogs and people.
We cannot imagine better breeders than Denise and Pentti – nor can we imagine better dogs!
Where do I start. We lost our English cocker from old age and asked our dog groomer if she knew anyone. Well long story short , she put us in touch with Denise. We met Denise and Pentti. Words can’t describe how caring, welcoming and professional they were. We were given a binder, food, & tips. Oreo is now 10 plus months and the most loving, healthy and socially adjusted family member.
Denise and Pentti are amazing people who really love English Cocker Spaniels and it shows! Working with them to bring home my new family member, Sunny, was such a wonderful experience. Everyone that meets Sunny is so impressed with her personality and temperament and they all want to know who I got her from.
